At Bellman’s, we take your pre-owned luxury jewelry and showcase them in our showroom alongside our own inventory. This means your jewelry will be seen by a wide range of Bellman’s customers. There are no upfront costs associated with consigning your jewelry with Bellman’s, we work on commission only, after your items sells.

Local Consignment Process

It’s easy, you will first meet with one of our consignment specialists who will examine each item of jewelry, determine the weight, stone size, clarity and rarity of your piece. Next, we establish a price for each item that is consistent with Bellman’s fair pricing policy, that offers fine quality jewelry at a reasonable price.

At Bellman’s we inspect and clean your items for better appearance at no charge. We also offer an in-house bench jeweler who can repair or suggest ways to recondition your piece to maximize your return.

Worldwide Consignment via the Internet

For an even greater chance at selling your consignment jewelry, consider utilizing our online sales division. We will take the stress out of selling your jewelry online; our online team will photograph and display your jewelry alongside our own internet inventory at several of the best online market places, just ask us for additional information on this service.

We have built a trusted reputation with our global customers and they are always on the lookout for exquisite items just like yours and our staff knows how to market your jewelry to a worldwide audience.

Putting your jewelry on consignment may take longer to sell than liquidation, but the outcome is usually worth the wait. For best results, we ask that you give us at least 6 months to sell your pieces. If after the initial 6 months, you are welcome to pick up your jewelry, lower the asking price, or we can make you a cash offer. Either way you are in control of the process.

Bellman Buying Group Return Policy:

You may return any estate and consignment jewelry item within 14 days of purchase. The item must be in its original condition and be accompanied by your receipt.

Bellman Buying Group Warranty Policy:

We make a good faith effort to inspect every item of pre-owned and estate jewelry that is sold by the Bellman Buying Group. We cannot, however, be responsible for the overall condition of jewelry that was (a) not manufactured by Bellman’s and (b) had been worn by another person.

Therefore, we are unable to warranty pre-owned and estate jewelry. We highly recommend that you purchase a separate jewelry rider insurance policy on all jewelry items purchased. This addition to your homeowners or apartment insurance, will protect you from damage, lost gemstones and even theft anywhere in the world at a very reasonable cost.
