Birthstone of the Month: Aquamarine

Aquamarine is a beautiful light blue to greenish blue stone that is a perfect addition to any collection. Aquamarine gets its name from the Latin roots “aqua” and “marine” meaning “water'' and “of the sea”. It is said that aquamarine stones used to be used by sailors as they believed they calmed the waters during their travels.
